A sketchbook is so much better than a photo album! While sketching, there is a hightened level of attention to the scene, the atmosphere, details and what is going on. I remember my conversations with most of the people depicted, if we had one.
These sketches were made during a cruise in the Gulf of Mexico in 2016. Mostly people on the ship, because on land there was far to much to see and do and, I was accompanied. There was no time to sit down and sketch.
