Sketching with pastells / Pastellskitzzen / Trabajando con pastel

For a long time I have not seen anyone using pastell and want to explore its potential for urban sketches.

The river Rhine is at historic record low and people literally walk on its bottom.   Navigation hast been hurt and might have to be halted enterely if it does not start raining soon.  Meanwhile, we have enjoyed an extraordinarily sunny and warm summer and autumn.

It was a pleasure meeting the local group.

Die Bahnreise nach Dortmund dauert etwa 45 minuten, genuegend fur 3-4 dieser Skitzzen.  Die meissten Passagiere beschaeftigen sich mit dem Handy, Musik und seltener mit einem Buch.














El tren a Dortmund toma alrededor de 45 minutos, tiempo suficiente para dibujar 3-4 de estos esbozos.  La mayoria de los pasajeros se entretienen con el celular, escuchar musica y en raras ocasiones, con un libro.










The train takes about 45 minutes from Essen to Dortmund, enough to draw 3-4 of these sketches.  Most passengers entertain themselves with cell phones, listening to music, seldom with a book.
