Una de nuestras primeras excursiones este año ha sido a la Colonia Tovar, población fundada en 1843 por inmigrantes procedentes de la Selva Negra en el Sur de Alemania. Estuvimos sorprendidos por el buen estado de las vías, tanto por El Junquito como la vía entre Colonia Tovar y La Victoria.
One of our first day tours this year was to Colonia Tovar, settled in 1843 by German immigrants from the Black Forest. We were surprised by the fact both roads, through El Junquito and down from Colonia Tovar to La Victoria, had recently been paved.
