Arte en Topotepuy

Nuestras "Aventuras Artísticas" en Topotepuy fueron un éxito.  El clima fue inmejorable, los participantes increíbles y el lugar fantástico.  El resultado fue recogido por el biólogo y fotógrafo Leopoldo García Berrisbeítia.

Con los dibujantes urbanos en el Jardín Botánico de la UCV

Fue una hermosa mañana de sol en tiempo de lluvia.  Logré un par de dibujos en la entrada del Jardín Botánico y otra en el espejo de agua de los nenúfares donde encontré flores de loto. No las había visto antes.
It was a beatuful sunny morning during rain season.  I managed to draw a couple of  pictures at the entrance of the Botanical Garden and one at the water lillies pond where I saw lotus flowers which I had not seen before.

Por sugerencia de mi amiga la pintora y profesora Helen Morlock, hace unos meses me uní al grupo "Dibujantes Urbanos Caracas".  Ha sido una experiencia muy estimulante.  Es una bonita forma de pasar el rato, observando  y capturando lo que de rodea a tu manera.

Since my friend the artist and teacher Helen Morlock suggested it, a few months ago I joined the "Caracas Urban Sketchers" group.  It has been a very stimulating experience.  Sketching is a lovely way of spending time, observing your surroundings and capture them  it in your own way.
