Afectados por tanta incertidumbre existencial, alguien me preguntó cuáles cosas echaría yo de menos si tuviera que emigrar a Europa. Ésta es definitivamente una de ellas: el
generoso verdor que hallamos en las selvas húmedas de la costa, en los cerros de Caracas, los
pueblitos de todo el país y hasta en el jardín del edificio donde vivo.
With so much uncertainty in our lives, someone asked me what I would miss most if I had to emigrate to Europe. This is definitely one of those things: the lush greens found in our tropical rain forests; in the hills around Caracas; in the towns all over Venezuela and even in the garden of my apartment building.
